Canal Trips: August 2007 - Itinerary

This is the detailed itinerary for our 100 mile canal trip across the heart of England from Birmingham to the outskirts of London in late August 2007.

We joined the boat at Shirley in Solihull, just outside Birmingham, and stayed for six days. Following the Stratford Canal and then the Grand Union, we passed through Warwick, Leamington, Braunston, Stoke Bruerne, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, and Tring, where we got the train back home to London.
