Copenhagen revisited (1999)
Early in November 1999 we revisited Copenhagen to celebrate Dave's birthday. This is a city that we really enjoyed the last time around (on our "Grand Tour" in 1997), and which we had been itching to return to. We were not disappointed.

An unexpected treat was the brand new Royal National Library, which apart from being a FAB building (with free Internet terminals too!) treated us to an excellent exhibition of Medieval manuscripts. We also managed to do the "Around the Sound" circuit of the Øresund (Copenhagen - Helsingør - Helsingborg - Malmö - Copenhagen, by train/ferry/train/ferry), visit the Louisiana museum of modern art, take a somewhat nostalgic return trip to Roskilde, and have a look at the (not then completed) Øresund fixed link.
