Andrew and Dave (The Deptford Lads) have been on holiday!
For 4 weeks in July and August 1997 we toured around Northern Central Europe
by rail and ferry, travelling through Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Czech Republic,
and Holland.
These web pages were prepared before we left (see below), and are currently
being updated so that they reflect, and report upon, where we actually went and
what we did.

We've created these pages for three basic reasons:
- So that our Internet connected friends and families can check-out our
itinerary, details of where we are staying etc.
- To give us a base of information, links etc. that we can consult en
route at cybercafés in the cities we are visiting
- To see if we can create an interesting website that we can update as we go
along (cybercafé facilities permitting), allowing us to keep in touch
with friends & family on the road
Of course, it may not work. In which case these pages will be a memorial to
the failure of modern technology to live-up to (we think not unreasonable)
expectation!
