Jutland Map This map shows the route we took on our trip through Jutland in July 2003 (dark line). The large dots show the places where we stayed overnight (click on these to jump to the itinerary).
We started at Hamburg, approximately 90 miles (145 km) south of the bottom edge of this map, before reaching Kolding. Then we continued north to Silkeborg; then Rold, on the edge of the national forest; and then via Aalborg to Aalbæk and Skagen at the far northern tip of Denmark. We then made our way back south to Århus; then via Ribe to Gram; and finally back to Hamburg to fly home.
See the Itinerary for more details, or click on the places on the map to jump directly to the relevant day.
There is also another map of the viking age sites we visited on the Vikings page. |
