The Deptford Lads' Holidays

Deptford Lads > Stockholm

Ferry (Fjäderholmslinjen: "Stockholms Ström 2") coming into the harbour at Nacka Strand, Nacka, Stockholm Stockholm

Our first visit to Stockholm was in July/August 1998. We had been so impressed by our first experience of Scandanavia on our "Grand Tour" in 1997 that we decided to give Stockholm a try for a few days. We loved it. We've been back numerous times since then - at least once a year, and four times in 2006 (we actually spent the first and last three days of the year in the same hotel). Vi tycker om Sverige!

From this page you can access all of our on-line material on Stockholm. There are separate pages for details of hotels we have stayed at, and restaurants and bars we have visited; and on this page picture galleries, travelogues, reviews we have written on the Virtual Tourist website, blogs, maps, useful on-line resources (links to on-line guides, weather, currency, daylight hours etc), and some archive material.
